RIFUGIO CAMPO
It is located in the fascinating and wild Val Zebrù, at 2000m above sea level.
From the hamlet of Niblogo Valfurva you can leave the car and continue on foot or by bike. The route is suitable for everyone. You will be pleasantly be surpised by the surrounding nature, by historic houses and, if you are lucky, by some deer or ibex.
Here, you will be welcomed by young refugee hosts and excellent traditional dishes.

For more experienced walkers, continuing along the valley you can also go up towards the famous yellow-roofed refuge, Quinto Alpini.

RIFUGIO CHALET RODODENDRI
2126m above sea level, on Monte Vallecetta in the La Rocca area – Valdisotto. The family-run refuge will welcome you with genuine cuisine and a magnificent view of Bormio and its mountains.
Don’t miss the delicious apple fritters, appreciated by all those who stop here for lunch. The refuge is open all year round: in winter it is located along the ski slopes of Bormio, while in summer it is a destination for mountain bike, downhill and trekking enthusiasts. The route we most recommend in the surrounding area is the La Rocca-Monti di Sobretta-Bormio 2000 ring.

RIFUGIO BERNI
An ideal stop for road cycling enthusiasts, but not only. The Berni refuge is located 2km from the Gavia Pass, on the Valtellina side. It can be also reached on foot from Santa Caterina Valfurva, taking the La Romantica path as the first stretch, or from the splendid Val di Rezzalo. Both routes are recommended for an intermediate hiker. The refuge is however one of the favorite summer destinations for cyclists who, after climbing to the pass, can find a welcoming and peaceful environment to replenish and enjoy an excellent polenta!

RIFUGIO BRANCA
Rifugio Branca enjoys a spectacular view of the Forni Glacier. Here the cuisine is authentic and you can also find vegan options.
Excellent arrival point for a simple one-hour walk from the Forni car park, or as a transit point for mountaineering excursions dedicated to experts, such as the ascent to Monte Cevedale or to Punta San Matteo.
The refuge is also open in spring and is reached by ski mountaineering enthusiasts, who climb up here on skins.
To get to Branca we also recommend the glaceological route, suitable for all levels, which offers a fantastic view of the glacier and offers passage over two Tibetan bridges, suspended above the Frodolfo stream.

RIFUGIO VIOLA
Val Viola is one of the favorite locations for tourists in all seasons. It is possible to reach here on foot or by mountain bike throughout the summer. Surrounded by an alpine lake and grazing meadows, the Viola refuge is a recommended destination for those who want to spend a pleasant and relaxing moment with the whole family or friends. If, however, you want to spend a day on the snow, with snowshoes or mountaineering skis, we recommend also Baita Caricc as a tasty destination, immersed in a magnificent white valley.
